Details
CryoSmartCART is designed for loading biological samples in racks, boxes and vial canes. High-vacuum and multi-layer insulation technology keeps the interior cold and controls liquid-nitrogen evaporation. It lets biobank users move samples out of storage tanks for temporary storage, sorting and transfer while keeping them in a vapor-phase environment below −150 °C, and provides a safe lid-off operating platform for up to 8 hours. Two sizes are available: CryoSmartCART-L (50 L LN₂, 3,000 × 2 ML vials, 1435 × 560 × 1093 mm) and CryoSmartCART-M (27 L LN₂, 1,500 × 2 ML vials, 915 × 560 × 1093 mm). A-type (LA/MA) models add an automatic filling system.
